For the past 30 years, TM has made regular trips to the Spanish enclave of Ceuta to smuggle back fabrics, clothing and brand-name goods ordered by shop owners in Tangier. Because she is an older woman, Tax and Customs Officers usually do not search inside her coat at the border.
